What are your favorite genres of music? Do you ever switch out for another headphone?

    I heard about this. Which is why im wondering if a leather alternative would be any good.

Would I be correct in saying that velour pads alter the sound of the 668b?

How do these phones pair with a fiio e17?

Really these things are falling apart and I should just look to get some other headphones. There are breaks elsewhere in areas that support the speakers. I just want to hold off having to do that for a month or so.

Sup   I have some aurvana live 2 that are broken by the hinge which is plastic. What glue can I use that wont eat away at it?           Picture for reference.

I imagine it would work if you used a 2.5 - 3.5mm adapter to connect it.     FYI Steren 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable doesn't work with these headphones.

Are the hifiman pads a direct fit for these?

How are you guys liking the cable for these? Looking for one for my CAL! 2 headphones and these are suppose to be compatible.

    True you're right, im still curious though. The E17 is my only frame of reference when it comes to a dac/amp.

Has anyone here been able to compare these to a Schiit Magni+Modi combo?

So what changes sound wise between using leather hm5 pads vs the velour ones?     Also, what cables can we use with these headphones? From what I've gathered from posts in here we can use ones for the Sennheiser Momentum and the Sennheiser HD598 headphones. Are there any others?

Balances?   One thing I def don't want is the sound to get darker.   I'm curious, how common is the sound signature. It just seems odd to me to lead off with the sub bass the way these do. I guess ive become used to forward mids.
