    Sennheiser IE800 IEM's

Well... It WAS $600 for an IEM... A single wire... With earbuds attached to them... So I actually messaged them to cancel the order but they said it has already shipped out and to reject it if I don't want it... Took the gamble and boom, zero buyers remorse. I then used it 6+ hrs straight on...

    Sennheiser IE800 IEM's

i usually come back to head-fi everytime i buy something new and.... wtfuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu this crap is dope! I prefer these IEM's over my Beryer T1 and HD800!!!! Man I didn't think i'd say that but omg I'm really impressed, I thought my damn LG tone platinums were the best on the market but this...

    LG V20 Sound Quality

I've been looking into it myself and can't seem to find an answer but this article http://unwire.hk/2016/10/03/lg-v20-quad-dac/mobile-phone/ says "至於在 LG G5 首度搭載的 aptX HD 藍牙編碼,在 V20 自然繼續保留。" which translates into "As for the LG G5 for the first time carrying aptX HD Bluetooth encoding, in the...

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread

Don't think ever :( If they break it'll probably be cheaper to send in for repair unless they offer an upgrade if v1 parts are discontinued. The T1s v1/2 in Australia is $500 apart while the Hd800s being only 200, so if what you say is true, grabbing the 2nd gen is better cause you'll want it...

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread

Ya but not as bad on the T1s hence being picky too picky with tracks.   The HD800 still has too much treble regardless, sounds great with a Tube Amp, but not as much on solid state? Some songs sound amazing but the other half is a nono. Will look into modding it one day, apparently it's just...

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread

If I were to pick between the T1 and Hd800, I'd pick the T1. The separations are too far apart on the Hd800 and if unlucky, all the vocals will be only on the left ear with instruments on the right etc... Also the treble is way too high and some songs are practically unlistenable... Backstreet...

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread

I've had the T1s for about 2 years now... and didn't know a change in amplifier would have such vast improvements. It's never been this good before, I have driven them with the Xonar STX and even the well praised Woo Audio WA2, but after plugging it into the Lehmann Linears... omg... I've been...

    The Woo Audio 2

Gah... As much as I love to keep buying tubes, it'll feel like I'm just throwing money away if don't use them. I was going to replace it with TS7236 for 200ish or TS5998 for 300ish if my tube had died, but I'll try the gec 6080 next if I can't convince myself to spend the 300+, thanks!

    The Woo Audio 2

I've been using the stock tubes for like half a year thinking my TS7236 were dead, because one of the tubes had a high pitch and ears slowly start clogging up like you are underwater (tried switching sides on the amp to confirm).   So after finally willing to dish out money to get a new pair...

    Woo Audio Amp Owner Unite

Nope, never heard of the abyss at all tbh so I never had the time to look it up etc. It was on display so I tried it out for a few minutes and it sounded really good. Then i asked for the price and the sales guy said $6000 and I was like -_- This was literally 1-2 hours ago lol Wow, are the...

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread

In Foobar, I can play all 41.1khz files fine, but if I'd I decide to listen to a 48khz file it'll just go super slow motion, or just hear little clicks and don't play at all. It works if you reopen Foobar but if you want to listen to 41.1khz file again you gotta reopen it. Technically it's not...

Meh I haven't checked this site in a month and first thing I see is a broken pair of T1!? no way! I never thought it was possible from the way it looks and feel :( The feels man the feels...   Free replacement ?

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread

Quote: No, WASAPI is just for file playback, having everything else defeats the purpose of it. The point is to have the file 'play how it was recorded' without having other sounds mixed into it (windows).   Just stick to direct sound or at best, use ASIO 1 from xonar unified where...

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread

Asio 1 - can adjust volume from pc Asio 2 - volume always at 100% and can't be turned down from pc. Asio - something to do with playing directly from hardware Wasapi - bypassing the windows stereo mix (the thing that mixes music, video, games, yYouTube etc). Wasapi works flawlessly. Asio has...
