The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..
Quote: I told him how much they cost but he wanted them then and didn't want to wait for a re-order. I've got like 6 pairs of headphones and IEM's so I wasn't hurting for any but apparently he was.- Madcatyoji

I just sold my pair to a co-worker for $30. I let him listen to them and he just offered me what he had in his wallet. I normally would have just sold them to him at cost but I'm tight on cash this month so meh. Coming from somebody who has only ever listened to the cheapest crap headphones, my...- Madcatyoji

I don't understand why D's is getting hate. He has shown us a cheap IEM that performs much higher than it's price would indicate. I don't expect a $7 IEM to outperform $400 IEM's I'm pretty sure nobody in this thread "expects" that. As I said in my review, I would gladly pit them against $50...- Madcatyoji

Ok, I've done some fairly extensive listening and A/Bing. Methodology: I listened for 2 - 2 hour blocks after letting the headphones burn in for a bit over 14 hours. I listened to a lot of my favorite songs to let my ears adjust to the sound. I took an hour rest and did some reading to let...- Madcatyoji

Quote: Doing the burn in now. I don't have the adapter I need here for the full test so the best I can do is an iPhone test tomorrow against my E2c's. I'll be able to test them better Monday, but until then they get a bit of burn in with a listen sometime later.- Madcatyoji

Best Detachable cord Portable over the ear headphones for around 100-150 dollars?
With Black Friday coming up you may be able to pick up the Ultimate ear Triple Fi 10's for like $100 if Amazon does another sale. I would watch Amazon very closely over the next few days and see what pops up.- Madcatyoji

I'll probably get mine next week and I'll let you know what I think. I'll try them in a few different configurations with different hardware. Previous experience with IEM's are: Shure E2c, Apple earbuds, Bang and olufsen and a few other cheapo's. I'll be comparing them to my UETF10's, my Shure...- Madcatyoji

Sigh, I've ordered UETF10's, a Lune Cable, a PA2V2, a silver LOD output for my iphone and a box of cigars today.... $7.11 more can't hurt, right? Head-Fi, you really know how to exploit my addiction....- Madcatyoji

Setting up Audiophile PC
If it were me building a custom PC I would consider something like this: Look into a motherboard with plenty of USB outputs, skip the sound card and use a USB DAC > Headphone Amp > Headphones. For system cooling look into something like a Corsair H70 which will cool your system and...- Madcatyoji
