I just replaced my SE210's... cabling near the earpiece split open and was about ready to fall right off. I exchanged it at the store I got it from and the cable has code 0657??? Wow that's old.... guess I didn't get the new cabling then?

Cool, I sent him off an email and msn request. What I'm basically interested in doing is starting a more... community-like weekly podcast. I think head-fi is the perfect place and has a great atmosphere for something like that.

Hey guys, Long time browser here at Head-Fi. I haven't posted much but I've been keeping up somewhat with the audio world. I noticed that you guys had 4 episodes of a Head-Fi podcast at one time (ended in September 2007 I believe). Just curious if anybody would be interested in starting it...

I agree, they sound great and I don't hesitate too much to use them, but the cheap looking "star" desgin totally detracts from their appeal. I like the other models quite a bit better. A solid black or grey or black with grey ring would've looked better.

My mistake. I was thinking of the bluray hdcp crap.... which does require hdmi. I know the 360 supports 1080p over component as of the dashboard update which is cool. Apparently the hd-dvd drive has 2 usb and one "I/O" and one optical, whatever the IO is I dont know...

360 HD-DVD addon DOES have hdmi. You can't play hd-dvds without hdmi (damn copy protection) unless you like 480p. But yeah, the 360 addon uses its own hdmi port on the actual unit.

Bump! I've also run accross a decent Shure deal locally, so it's between Creative EP630 Senn CX300 V-moda bass freq Shure e2c V-moda vibe if LD ever gets them in any thoughts? I'm thinking creative, best bang for buck. If not I might have to jump on the e2c deal.
