I was a bit disappointed out of the box, mainly by the soundstage and the sound sig was just weird overall. I am a firm believer in burn in however so I ran mine overnight every night for about a week - sounds beautiful now! That short cable for the US is bizarre. I don't know why they'd do that.

I voted yes - because a number of posts indicate that the crossover used to split the frequencies actually burns in, while the BA driver does not. I haven't heard the IEM so I don't have direct experience as to how this affects the sound though. Definitely worth running it for a night or two...
