Reply to review by 'kaizer-j' on item 'OSTRY KC06 High Fidelity Stereo Inner-Ear Earphones'
Thanks for the review. I wonder how do these compare to other IEMs? It's a bit hard to judge how good do these really sound without any point of reference.- Kaizer-J

Hifiman HE-560 vs LCD-3 vs HD800 vs K812 -- quick impressions
Thanks for sharing the impressions, I'm particularly keen on 3 of the headphones mentioned above - more so on the LCD-3... I can't help but wonder if it would be a drastic step up from my current LCD-2 (which I do like very much btw)... I guess it all comes down to optimal system matching...- Kaizer-J

The BEST-LOOKING Headphones
'Understated' is exactly the appeal in the Valkyrie headphone. Some people don't like brash, shout and yell "look at me" kind of styling... G-shock watches are an example of brash and gaudy looking watch, which is fine but you won't call them "classy" or "elegant". Panerai watches on the other...- Kaizer-J

Rank the Headphones that You Own.
Not a fan of the bright & treble heavy sound of the DT880, especially in the lower treble region (5~8khz). DT1350 on the other hand is more balanced, where treble sounds more natural and sibilance-free - hence the higher ranking.- Kaizer-J

I have $200, what to buy?
I saw a lot of good recommendations here, but honestly a few are 'side grades' rather than upgrades, i.e. Grado SR60, ATH-M40 - different 'flavours' of sound for more or less similar SQ. If you have the chance to audition any of these, I strongly suggest you do so, trust your ears more. :)- Kaizer-J

New Member Introductions thread
Hello everyone, my name is Jay - my introduction is way overdue, but since I'm more active on these boards recently, I thought an introduction won't hurt. My journey begins with Hippo Shroom IEMs, which was gifted to me. Having zero knowledge on audio at the time, I was blown away by the sound...- Kaizer-J
