I wonder how comfortable they are. They look pretty rigid, like they won't flex to take pressure off of the ear. The originals (and all others of that style) really hurt after a while of use. 

When $25 seems too much for dinner and $200 seems too little for headphones.

Nice review! I am new to all of this so I chose this amp/dac as a low cost entry. I mainly listen to music on my computer too and I just wanted something that is plug and play, eventually I will move up to more dedicated sources.
