People complaining of short life all have mods.   Unmodded I frequently get 10+ hours with my AK120

Works just fine on Mavericks for me on a 13inch 2013 Air and 2013 15 inch Retina Pro

I got mine a couple of days ago and I am about as low profile as it gets. I have been using Audiovana to play on my Macbook Pro.   I can't hear a hint of back-ground noise, totally silent on quiet sections, well apart from the vinyl rips where clicks and pops stand out a mile. No problems...

I've just installed the new firmware and now my DX50 hangs on the "iBasso Audio" test screen. One time it did scan my microSD card. I can see the DX50 internal drive if i boot it with a cable plugged in but I cannot access the player. And no the lock is not enabled.   I've pulled the battery...

Any thoughts on the new firmware? I love the sound of 1.32 and do not want to lose it. On the other hand I have a nice collection of DSD files so improved processing would be welcomed.
