RUMOR: AIAIAI TMA1 X portable lightweight TMA 1 version
Try the TMA1s if you like the sound. Mine needed a few days, but sound great now. They isolate well, people say the clamping is loose, but it's right on me. Must have a big head. Try them out at best buy. I did and was pleased. I sit next to chatty coworkers with poor taste in music, so I rely...- jetjaguar72

AIAIAI TMA-1: an audiophile's basshead can, or the other way around?
Don't get me wrong, they sound great! The ones in the store actaully gave me goosebumps. Really! Used my phone and plugged it into the store set. Amazing. My set i own sound great, but i think the shock wore off. Burn in has seemed to help though.- jetjaguar72

AIAIAI TMA-1: an audiophile's basshead can, or the other way around?
Thanks for the review! I started my higher end headphone journey with a pair of v-moda crossfade lps and loved the build quality and sound for newer recordings and EDM. I then grew tired of hearing boomy bass with bands like Arcade Fire and The Smiths. I heard some tma-1s at Best Buy and loved...- jetjaguar72

are expensive headphones really worth it?
Following up on my last post, i recently invested in some AIAIAI TMA1s. I know everyone says they are dark, and i already have dark Crossfades, but after hearing some at Best Buy, they were comfortable and actually detailed! Loving them so far... But i still want to try some Grado's :)- jetjaguar72

AKG K67 Review?
One of the favorable reviews on youtube commented recently that their set broke, more specifically, the headband cracked. I think i'll stick with v-moda...- jetjaguar72

AKG K67 Review?
Hoping someone can lend insight. I am in the market for easy to drive portables with decent isolation, good bass, but retain mids and highs. I have a set of vmoda Crossfades that are great as far as EDM and bass driven genres go, but i really enjoy Bowie, The Cure, Joy Division, U2, etc... The...- jetjaguar72

are expensive headphones really worth it?
I think going in gradual is the key. Living with my Crossfades for 2 months had made me see the value of great construction build quality, but also made me realize, they are great for EDM and other bass driven genres. Too bad I enjoy lots of guitar based tunes! Enjoying my experience with the...- jetjaguar72

are expensive headphones really worth it?
Yeah, my interest is piqued, tempered by the knowledge i have a limited budget and my source is a 5 gen ipod and macbook pro! I'd really like to try a set of Sr60s ( I love Bowie and word is, these are great for rock) and I'm interested in the Tiesto k67 to see if they are a marked improvement...- jetjaguar72
