It's not clear to me that the E1 is really an 'amp' at all (vs. line out w/ volume control). In other words, is full volume exactly the same as line out? If anyone knows, I'd be curious.- jdc65

To my ears the Rains are a special phone. I had the perception that the bass rounded out just a bit after a few more hours, I think they are hitting bass notes perfectly per neutral.
