You'd risk the DD tuning imo I tried 5B too. There were more similarities than differences IMO. How much would you be selling the Sarda?- issuzark

Hyla Audio TE-5B & TE-5T Impressions Thread
I was sort of hoping there to be more vocals this time round to be honest. Oh yes I saw this one. I'm looking for more thoughts on it though. I'm half thinking of selling my CE-5 in favor of a Sarda if I could find one used. But now I'm having thoughts.- issuzark

Hyla Audio TE-5B & TE-5T Impressions Thread
Can confirm, having listening to the Percivalli a few weeks ago, I picked up some details that were missing on my CE-5 in the lows, which was rather surprising. Unfortunately the mids is still missing the Fitear flavor that I'm looking for though. Treble was rather sparkly and energetic but...- issuzark

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
A Brise STR7 would make the whole thing sound thicker. With some EQs I think it could work pretty well. Why convert it to mini XLR though?- issuzark

How wide is the gap between TOTL IEM/headphones to midfi gear?
You know, when I first started in 2011, I actually thought that the marginal improvement started to shrink after you pass the $100 mark, which is the IT01/SE215 area. These days I think the figure is abit higher though.- issuzark

Yeah. Chifi definitely have a lot better value on paper. It helps that to the common man the number of drivers is like the number of pistons in an engine too- issuzark

While I agree with your statement for the most part, I don't think the number of drivers counts much when it comes to sound quality. I can still think of quite a number of IEMs that has lower number of drivers that sound a lot better than KZ10 or KZ16. (prices may be a lot higher though)- issuzark
