need a budget IEM recommend
http://www.head-fi.org/t/486857/review-visang-r02-brainwavz-proalpha-too-good-too-soon Not sure if these have been surpassed in recent years, but they have served me very well, although I now stick to portable headphones whenever I can. When I got them I was amazed at the sound and build...- Innos

Computer speaker suggestions < 75 USD
As you probably know, headphones is this forum's specialty, so I'm sure the members here will be a great help in getting the best bang for your buck in the headphone department. All the ones I'm using these days are over your budget as well, but I've always had better luck with affordable...- Innos

Computer speaker suggestions < 75 USD
That's too bad. I got mine for what equates to about 200 USD, and everything's usually more expensive here in Norway than anywhere else in the developed world. I have no idea about the Swans either. My experience with computer speakers in that price range have taught me to stick with...- Innos

New power cord..??
You are welcome to try, as I did once. If there's no audible difference then at least you're paying for something that'll last you a lifetime. Unfortunately my tinnitus is here to stay it seems, but it does get easier to deal with. All those warnings seem so redundant until it actually happens...- Innos

Simple Home Setup for Vocal Recordings
There are condenser microphones that plug directly into the computer using USB. They are easy to use, but usually not professional quality. However there's so many of them available these days I'm sure some of them are pretty good. Those would be fine since all she really needs is an...- Innos

Do yourself a huge favor and save up for the Corsair SP2500, they are amazing for what they cost. I recently got rid of them to make room for studio monitors, but for the price you simply can't do better, computer speaker or not. The one exception might be used bookshelf speakers and a...- Innos

Alternative to stock HD25 cable in same (sub $50) price range
Is anyone but Sennheiser making cables for the HD25 that are not super expensive? I have little belief in gaining any significant sound improvements by using $100+ on a cable for such a headphone, but the stock cable is really, really bad. I've owned two, and both have had problems with...- Innos

New power cord..??
In my experience with power cables, if you do notice a difference, the one you were previously using has some kind of fault with it. I've personally seen noise issues vanish by using a proper cable, but never heard a difference going from good to expensive. I only own one fancy power...- Innos

The Deals Thread (CLOSED! See the last post for the link to the new thread)
Anyone know if I can use the opportunity today to get a good deal on a cable for Sennheiser HD25 anywhere? Not really looking for anything fancy, but the Sennheiser site just redirects me, probably 'cause I'm in Europe, so that's out. Sorry if I'm using this thread incorrectly, maybe I should...- Innos
