I just got my first "professional" headphone Sennheiser HD 380 Pro ($180) today. Can anyone recommend me some songs to listen? I want to try to find out what is the difference with my $20 Plantronics .Audio 355 headset.- iAmaN00b

After a year and half, I still think the GS-1000i is a great headphone.
Wow.. This is really making me curious as to how a $995 headphone sounds.- iAmaN00b

I Just returned a Sony MDR-v600
Would you say V6 is good for casual music and movie watching? I heard it's not intended for that because the EQ isn't curved and optimized for it. It's only good for studio producers. Quote:- iAmaN00b

I Just returned a Sony MDR-v600
Some days ago I ordered a Sony MDR-v600 for $67 just for casual listening to music and watching movies on my laptop. I had read a lot of good reviews of it so I went ahead and ordered it. After digging through more reviews and coming across Head-Fi I noticed that everyone here really disliked...- iAmaN00b

Shure SRH940, a subjective opinion-based analysis subject to scrutiny (Review)
Thanks for sharing this! I'm looking into buying two widescreen monitors that are 21" minimum and can flip in portrait mode too. I recently tried dual-monitor and am definitely going to get it because it will help me get a lot more work done quicker. The food in your picture is making my...- iAmaN00b

Comfortable Audio Technica ATH-M50 alternatives?
So I think I could either get the Sennheiser HD380 ($180) or Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro-80 ($199). Has anyone here tried both of these headphones? Which one is better?- iAmaN00b

Comfortable Audio Technica ATH-M50 alternatives?
Quote: Hi MalVeauX, Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'd want a closed headphone. I mainly watch movies and don't really listen to music much. Both the HD598 and DT880 aren't the headphones I'd want since they leak noise.- iAmaN00b

Headphone prices -- $30 vs vs $200+?
I just want a decent comfortable headphone for watching movies on laptop and listening to music. I'm not an audiophile, so what would be difference between buying a $30 vs $200+ headphone? I don't understand what could be the difference audio wise and if it's worth getting a headphone more...- iAmaN00b
