HD600 - on Creative SB X-Fi sound card.
But we found the sound card. Do I need an amp and/or a dac? On paper I mean. Actually I tested the sound and my ears are just not used to HD600. The HD595 sounded less detailed. I actually love the sound of my HD600. Been listening for hours the last week, you know that goosebump feeling...- HwangMiHee

HD600 - on Creative SB X-Fi sound card.
I also have a pair of HD555 (modded by taking out foam to make them HD595) that I could compare them to. As HD595 doesn't need an amp. How is the bass compared between HD600 and HD595?- HwangMiHee

HD600 - on Creative SB X-Fi sound card.
I have a pair of ATH-M50 that I thought had way too much bass. Sold them to a friend. Was fortunate enough to get a pair of 64 Ears V3 custom IEM. And I think their bass is much more than HD600. Does that help? Will check out on my sandisk and other players.- HwangMiHee

The bass is really weak yes. I know HD600 doesn't have strong bass. But it seems weaker than it should!- HwangMiHee

HD600 - on Creative SB X-Fi sound card.
Hello I just got my HD600 (jesus christ I'm in love). I was wondering if I should upgrade. I'm running the headphones from the headphone jack on the Creative SB X-Fi Sound card. Also my motherboard is: EVGA X58 Classified. (Website for my mb: http://www.evga.com/articles/00447/) Should I...- HwangMiHee

My HD555 plastic broke. Need advice!
Hello I have a pair of HD555 that I have been using for over 5 years, and I absolutely LOVE the sound they have. They are modded, by taking out the foam inside the cup. The best sound I have ever heard. The hinge on the left side has broken. I can provide picture if you don't understand...- HwangMiHee

Looking for closed headphones w/flat soundstage
Yes I meant frequency response I especially like the sound when the bass is low, precise and not intimidating. This is the feel of my V3 and HD555. Basically crystal clear mids and highs. I will look them up as you said. Appreciate your help- HwangMiHee

Looking for closed headphones w/flat soundstage
Hi Thank you for repying Yeah I noticed it is wrong what I wrote. Thank you for pointing that out, I was just tired I don't know. I love the sound my HD555 (modded) and my V3 make. But I don't like the bass heavy-ish sound of my ATH-M50 in comparison. I do like the ATH-M50, don't get me...- HwangMiHee

Looking for closed headphones w/flat soundstage
Hello I love my 1964-Ears V3. I wear them all the time. But sometimes it becomes a little uncomfortable sitting with them all day. (I study almost all the time) I really do not like heavy bass headphones. I liked the ATH-M50. But I like the soundstage of the V3's much more. - Are there...- HwangMiHee
