    headphones for Nuforce Icon

I'm curious to hear more input as well. I recently ordered a used Icon along with the beefier power supply.

    DAC / SPDIF switch

I'm going to college soon, and I'm searching for an upgrade to my current setup. Right now, I have three S/PDIF outputs from my MacBook, PC, and Xbox 360 going to an Onkyo receiver, connected to a pair of Insignia bookshelf speakers. I've been looking at a few passive speakers (The Energy...

    iPod Classic clickwheel responsiveness?

Are you sure you're using the most current firmware? 1.1 has been awesome so far, and 1.1.1 was just released, which I'm updating to now. The first few versions were unbelievably sluggish, but the newer ones are decent, if not as good as my older 5th generation iPod.

    Changing track order on iPod

Also make sure the "album artist" (different from "artist") field is filled out on all of the tracks, or none at all. Keeping some songs blank and others filled will affect the order.

    T-Amp (Gen 2) vs. Trends Audio TA-10.1 (vs. ??)

I think I'll go ahead and purchase the BPA-1. Someone else recommended this, since it appears to be the same model (a rebrand?) and $30 cheaper.

    T-Amp (Gen 2) vs. Trends Audio TA-10.1 (vs. ??)

The Emotiva looks like it's a nice solution, so I might end up purchasing that. It looks like it has a fan inside, which is my only real fear (if it gets hot / how much sound the fan makes). The only reason why I didn't consider the Super-T Amp was because the TA-10.1 supposed to be a better...

    T-Amp (Gen 2) vs. Trends Audio TA-10.1 (vs. ??)

I'm looking for a small, affordable amp that will power my passive cheap Insignia speakers. I'm running S/PDIF to my receiver to my bookshelves, which works fine, but it takes up plenty of space and gets fairly hot. The Insignia speakers aren't exactly known for their efficiently, which is...

j-Jays or Creative EP 630 (or..)?

I'm shopping around for canalphones for my father. Over the past two years, he's used close to a half a dozen canal phones, because they keep breaking on him (either at the point where the cable splits, or one of the ends connecting to the driver). I know it's probably because of something he's...
