Yeah I agree. Seems a bit gimmicky. I'm deciding wether to pre order now and save 80 bucks on a potentially decent DAC amp combo case, or wait for some impressions/ reviews.

The jaybirds isolate great especially once you find the right size tips. You can also order comply foam tips for them, which supposedly make them a lot more comfortable.

If you're not set on over ear headphones, I'd have to recommend the Jaybird Bluebuds X. They sound great, look great, and are very comfortable. Great for gym use.
