First let me say that I don't have any of the HTC or android phones nor do I know if their 3.5mm jack has the same pin out of an iphone. However, if they are compatible here is a good list to start with.

I will most likely keep them. If I order from amazon s&h is free but most other places charge about $30-$40 for a box aprox. 2lbs so paying that both ways is out of the question.

I have been looking to upgrade to a better set of cans for a while, but unfortunately there are no stores near me to listen to different models. My current setup is a Samsung P2 and Denon 1001. When listening to classical and some vocal music I find the mids to be somewhat restrained. Will adding an amp help bring out the midrange more or will it act more like a external volume control. Thanks in advance.
