Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion
After 7 years of owning the i4s I finally got a coupler to properly measure them.. L+R+Avg For the longest time I haven't been completely satisfied with Reveal or cipher or any of the EQ equivalent, I finally feel like I know what I'm working with  can't believe after 7 years I'm...- havenlau

I know there are already millions of EQs out there:darthsmile: just wanted to share mine based on harman 2019 v2 I didn't like how the 3kHz+ is handled from the github EQ so I generated my own my EQ with slight subbass boost and ~1.25k: without: (delete filter 19 and 20) use with equalizerAPO...- havenlau

that's actually a genius idea, I will have to try that out ty. I tried to use electrical tape but it wasn't tight enough and zip tie was too thick, heatshrink would probably work great. wish the nozzle had some grooves to grip the eartips better..- havenlau

What eartips do you guys use? I've been using spinfit for about a year now while they fit nicely they have been falling out of the nozzle every few hours. What other aftermarket tips are there?- havenlau

Yeah I've tried them too, actually at the beginning I tried modding the old hooks by heating and bending them, the result was pretty close to the new hooks anyways the new ones are indeed much more comfortable, the only issue I have with them is that they don't stay secured in my ears too well...- havenlau

Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion
Today marks my 365th day of owning the i4s, they are still absolutely my favorite, no other headphones have the combination of soundstage, deep tight bass, smooth vocals, portability, comfort, and yes I mean comfort initially when I went through and tried all the hooks, earlocks, none of them...- havenlau

I modelled and 3d printed them, just because how fragile the stock ones are I thought it was worth the little effort, I can also just print more whenever I need to The shape of the stock ones don't fit my ear very well, I might need to adjust the curvature a bit with my printed ones later on...- havenlau

The stock hook was leaving some bad markings on my ear and it got pretty uncomfortable after 2 hours, so I modelled the stock ones with a slight bend: quick clean up: side by side with stock installed, you can see the added angle: they are 30 times easier to take on and off, not to...- havenlau

While I understand the reason behind the crinkling, I'm not sure if the extend that I'm experiencing is normal or not, I have a dual monitor setup and turning my head from one to the other (something like 10deg of head turning) sounds like someone is rubbing a plastic bag across my head, even...- havenlau
