Hm... What about the ATH A700's? I just picked up a pair for my dad, should be arriving soon. I have heard good things... and bad about them. Mainly the construction quality as well as the materials used can be a bit shoddy, but overall it should work for what you need it to, Movies and Gaming...

I've never tried the M50s, but I do have the HD25's. They're on ear so right there it might turn you off, but I wear glasses occasionally, and it's still comfortable. Just not for a super long time. The HD25's have great isolation, minimal sound coming in or out of the phones. I use these...

That was a great review. Thank you.  Back when I was deciding for a pair of headphones... before I bought the HD-25 II's for outdoors and the denon d2000's for home use, I remember looking at the HD650's. This was fascinating. :)

Hey glad everything ended up well... After just browsing for about 5 minutes, you really do find that everyone "hates" the beats and bose headphones... granted the beats more than the bose it seems?  Anyways post a thread once you get them! I'd like to see what you think! 

Well just got my D2000's. A little more expensive since JR was out of stock.. and I was never the patient one... bought it for 250. Still worth it IMO. I haven't had a chance to burn it in but it's everything I expected and more. Just wanted to toss an update out to those that cared. :)   ...

Love the review! Just bought a pair and it should be getting to me soon. I'll be sure to take heed in being careful not to ruin these though.    Just thinking about it though, haven't had a chance to really look at it, wouldn't some blue loctite remedy the screw coming loose situation?

Negakinu, Thanks! I actually gave my dad my old sansa clip +, so I read up on some people tweaking the EQ in Itunes for my ipod. Tried it and it works. The sound obviously suffers a bit but it's just for a couple of songs so i'm happy. :)    Frylock I just got an email back from JR...
