If I could get the Monster Turbines for 70$ (There's an ad for them on Kijiji) should I pick them over the vsonic gr06?

Thanks for the reccomendation, and if i had a job/was old enough to get a job, I would definitely condiser those! But since i am asking for a new pair for my b-day my parents are sceptical spending $~130, never mind 300$! Any other advice you have to offer?

Thanks for the response, but I also need them closed because I will be using them while walking to school, at school, etc. Forgot to mention that, sorry. What of those four cans would you recommend? Or would you recommend something completely different?

Well I'm pretty sure the amp setup you have will drive it fine, and I assume that semi-open means closed with vents? I'm not sure about that. 

Hmmm... The Beyerdynamic DT880 (600ohm) Look like a good price, 309$ on amazon, have good sound and they look pretty damn comfy if you ask me!

I was actually just reading a bit more about the SRH 750's (which I was considering buying) and noticed the complaints about how comfortable they are. Not sure if I won't buy them just because of that, but the M-50's are sort of out of the question for me because the cheapest I could find them...
