Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
Just wanted to say that Empire Ears were great guys. Got supra 2 non adel ciems from them at canjam NYC (long overdue...I know). One of the cheaper ciems you can get with the discounts, so it was a no brainer. And shockingly they have a great bass response, good enough for pop, electronic..etc...- fuzzyash

Speakers recommendation for desktop
the jbl lsr305 run around $400 in canada my vote goes for the rokits (cheaper) or jbls, best to listen to them beforehand (there should be plenty of shops in the major cities) -

Looking for new self-amped 2.0 speakers 300-400$ range
I haven't heard them in store but there are several studio monitor comparison videos on youtube in the video below, the "veil" on the rokits is evident to me , compared to the jbls and yamahas (you have to use headphones or iems, not laptop speakers, to hear the difference)- fuzzyash
