Just found out recently about the meet.Grado PS1000 and GS1000.Edition 8's.Beyer T50P.Yarland P-100 Tube Amp.TTVJ Slim Amp.Rega Saturn CD Player and some other stuff.Should be fun.

There most be another type of yarland that I'm not familar with then.

The El84 is corrrect.The 6N3 is the equivalent of the 5670/2C51/396a and not the 12ax7/ecc83.

The T50p definitely sounds better amped.I"m using the I-phone 3GS>ALO Triple Pipe LOD>TTVJ Slim>T50p.Has more speed and impact than the plan I-phone out.

Yes,the EL84 is a fabulous tube to listen to.The Yarland P-100 uses two EL84 tubes.It also uses another good tube in that of the 5670/2C51/396A family of tubes.

Hi Adu,I just checked the face plate and I also have the 2008 version of the Yarland.Will the real 2009 Yarland P-100 please stand up.

I see from the photo you have neutric input jacks on your Yarland.That would mean you have the most recent Yarland which is probably the 2009 version.

I see you already own the DT990 and I've never heard them.As for the K701 I thought they were good headphones maybe a little artifical sounding but a bargain at there price point.I've since moved on to the Grado sound with the GS1000 and PS1000.
