i did the same thing...but i was going for my ear phones and they just dipped into my cup of tea.....i pulled it out immedietly...luckily they weren't plugged in     seems to work fine...it was in there for a split second...i took the triple flange off right away and disconnected the wire...

shure se530's are $280 on amazon shipped now!

so, would most agree the Shure's se-530's have more bass?

I understand this is a very old thread...but I just wanted to point out that..even do this day in 2008, the cracking issue still exists my shure e310's right wire just cracked in 5 different areas

I own the SE310's and my right side just started cracking too!! I live right near the Niles, IL facility so I asked if I could drop them off instead of mailing it in. They were ok with it. I also asked the lady if this is a known issue and she said she never heard of it...so on monday, i'll go...

My shure se310's just cracked too on the right wire =( this is during the summer and I always leave them in the case
