I have it too but can't manage to have a proper seal, by the way it's nowhere as good as the HI 2500. I was attracted at first by the fact the tehnical caracteristics would have suited better a utilisation with a dap but once again as Claus-DK said nothing special to write about !- Edouard

Just bought a pair of sennheiser mx 985 as my first pair of earbud. I'm really impressed on how good these sounds, they do almost everything well ! The more I listen to these the more I like them !- Edouard

Topping D3 (JUNE 2013 RELEASE) (DAC + Headphone Amp)
Just ordered one as I was looking for a brighter and less sweetish source compared to the arcam r-pack I currently own. I'll share my impressions on this thread once I have it Hardware wise, it sounds very promising- Edouard

If you don't need isolation , i'll go with the HI 2050 too as it's far from being bass shy well amped ! Unamped, if you're not affraid by its dark tonality, i'll go with the pro80. I do think both takstars are a step up compared to the hd 449- Edouard

Yes , the hi-2050 improve a lot with amping : better bass control ( less boomy and more refined ), open-up ( better soundstage and less congested sound ), better dynamics, they REALLY need an amp to show their true potential though it's a quite a good pair of cans unamped especially at their...- Edouard
