Sounds like a software problem within windows than the actual sound card. Or try installing at diff. slots maybe? reinstall driver? did the onboard sound give out sound? heck, i see u might need few hours just messing with possible hypothesis.

My foobar works with asio by this setup: 24bitpadded32, use that foo_output_asio(dll), output as asio (dud), No resampling. A/w about resampling, i hear no sound improvement when upsample so i just disable resample. It could be the placebo effect with resample on my senn580.

Global shortcut let u control regardless of what you windows you are on (e.g. surfing the new). It just require that you have foobar running in the background (dud :P). Any program can have windows rights to do that, even hackers can have windows rights

Jumpers (both) should be on pin 1and2 to disable if u like. You the rear out and set High resample rate on your sound card. Trust me, i tested using the telephone flac file and it the green line out plug gave me a distortion whereas rear out doesnt.

Why would you want to mess up with equalizer? AV710 is a great sound source already. If you find you need an equalizer, then it might be your speakers that are not doing its job :P

I think the reason why i cannot put Foobar DSP resampler to 96khz on is because my AV-710 card has Enable High - Sample Rate set on at 96khz. I guess it cant resample with foobar and with sound card at same time. Does it make sense to you?

I got foobar 0.8.3 to work in asio now! I install the special version (check all installation). I have to disable all DSP resampling to (either 96000hz or 48000) to make asio works. Now that I have asio to work, will the sound quality be reduced now that I have resampler PPHS and SSRC disable?
