I generally prefer to use felting wool (like https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Corriedale-Complete-Premium-Felting/dp/B09KBC9MVF/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=Felting+Wool&qid=1697674078&sr=8-10) to the "Twaron Angel Hair", which i have also. But twaron has had some uses too- Drakkard

Honestly i dont know which tubes are there) B22 is great. The only problem with it is the bright tonality. cfa3 is much more balanced in its presentation. As for the custom amp - i dont know the details, it was handled to me for evaluation. I think it is based on a lynx ha84...- Drakkard

For me CFA has a better controlled and punchier bass, also overall less colored. I dont find Nirvana bass any better, on the contrary, it is a bit worse. But mids have that tubey feeling and it is good on some music, but not everywhere.- Drakkard

Yes thats my build :) I loaned it to @Boldakov for an audition. Currently there are 5 amps there: CFA3, Nirvana, Beta 22 (balanced), Ferrum+OOR and a diy build amp. CFA3 seems to be a winner for me with Nirvana as a possible alternative for a different mood.- Drakkard

It's hard to tell, I'm out of good headphones right now. I'd say it sounded very well before, and definitely not worse now :) I like it more than beta22, which was the best headphone amp I listened to date, but that is without direct comparison. I might do it later, I have several friends with...- Drakkard

Thanks to Kevin and Dukei for assistance :) About the panel, well, yeah. May be someday, when I forget that I already overpaid for it more than I'm comfortable with :) Local master, not on this forum. Might be first CFA built in Russia.- Drakkard
