    New Turbine Pearl...

I asked Monster on Twitter about these...   So it looks like a $229 version of the normal Turbines...

Just heard the Dr. Dre Beats today

If you joined only to say that, then you joined for a good reason. :) Not to be an egotist or anything, but I also get annoyed when people look at my SE425s (or any of my regularly used headphones, for that matter) and then say that their piece-of-crap Beats have superior sound quality. Oi...

    Thinking of upgrading my Shures...

I can't recommend the SE425s enough (I'm starting to sound like a Shure rep now), so I recommend those. I love these so much that my other earphones are starting to get jealous. I have the 110s, the 210s, but haven't had the chance to listen to the SE315s yet, but if the trusty Jasmine France...

    monster customer support

Quote: No, they told me that they would send UPS or something to pick it up from my house like they did last time, but they never called to arrange a pick-up. It's been a month now since I last emailed them and I tried calling them this morning, but they would not pick up. No emails...

    monster customer support

That sucks, dude. I used to 100% believe in Monster's customer service but it has been lacking recently. Hell, they dropped off a pair of Solo Beats to replace my Turbines and they didn't even pick up the Turbines.

Shure SE425: First Impressions and Reviews Thread

The wire is indeed freaking awesome, and I did mention this before, but the SE425-V has a thicker, more insulated wire than the SE425-CL. The CL looks and feels like a bicycle wire!   And I listen to a lot of house music, power ballad music, and even though I'm using it with an EQ, I am...

Shure SE425: First Impressions and Reviews Thread

I do like the yellow tips, but they get too stiff and uncomfortable in the cold, cold Vancouver mornings. I have found out that they come off easier than the olives as well, but what really sucks is that it's not just the new olives that are getting stuck on the nozzles - it's also the old...

Shure SE425: First Impressions and Reviews Thread

Quote: Mind sharing your tip removal technique? The very nice guy from the Headphone Bar did remove the tips before I took them out (not without difficulty) but now that they're back on, I can't get them off (and as I said in my last post, I'm terrified to even try), so some help would...

How much for genuine Beats by Dre Tour?

I listened to the Klipsch S5i with hip-hop and the bass was nice and full but tight. Check them out! These are significantly cheaper than the Beats but they sound way, way, WAY better.

How much for genuine Beats by Dre Tour?

The sound clarity of any of the Beats wouldn't be worth half their price.

Shure SE425: First Impressions and Reviews Thread

As much as I hate to resurrect an old topic, I don't like to start a new one about the same topic even more. I got my new SE425-Vs today, and found out that the wire on the metallic bronze version is thicker and "gel-ier" than the one on the Clear.   The thickness on this is about the same...

Beats Solo vs Beats Solo HD

The obvious and most significant difference between the Solos and the Solo HDs is that the HDs have a little HD painted on the sides beside the Solo typography. :D Seriously, though, I have the Solos and gave my pop the HDs for Christmas and I don't notice any difference. Except that he uses...
