I'm not complaining necessarily that there seems to be less bass, as they have become clearer...its just that they were the chocolate to my hd800's vanilla, but now, at least for my ears, they have changed in SQ....but not complaining they still sound great- Dbwilco

I'm curious if others have heard the same as me with these cans...after purchase I put the requisite 100 hrs of burn-in in and then began listening...what i heard was a sweet sounding hp with nice separation, clear mids and surprisingly enough ,kinda bassy....not a bleed thru bass but still alot...- Dbwilco

Dallan, I'm just like you...i read all the posts, research diligently and then once i pull the trigger I want the cans yesterday haha... as for the comments regarding the bass...i was suprised on how deep and nice the bass is now (200 hrs burn-100 on head)...but it never obscures the...- Dbwilco

you will like them....best headphone ive ever heard (havent heard stax or HD800 yet)...proud owner of #1920.....makes songs sound like vinyl records...great midrange, smaller but VERY effective soundstage...very happy- Dbwilco

Nuforce LPS-1...difference is not subtle.
just wanted to chime in, for all you HDP users, that the LPS that nu-force makes a pretty significant difference, in what was already a pretty nice product...my biggest complaint was the dac/amp was a little bright...well with this product the lower midrange and bass was filled out, soundstage...- Dbwilco
