Damn :(. I second (third?) the W4RC idea, especially with the rounded slimmer plug. Brendan- cyberspyder

suggestions for winter jacket,furnace warmth
The Wiggy's stuff is overrated personally, kudos that it's made in the USA but that's about it. I find eVent to be a better substitute to Gore-Tex (or any of its variants).- cyberspyder

DIY Cable Gallery!!
If you've read my reply you would realize that my argument was directed towards the reasoning that using any heatshrink will cause microphonics without regard to the application at hand. I don't know about you but when I put a pair of phones on they usually stay on my head and thus the wires...- cyberspyder

DIY Cable Gallery!!
Exactly. I think many of you guys are blowing this out of proportion. Instead of intentionally yrying to brush the wires up against clothing or running you fingers on it, put the phones on and listen. I barely hear anything because most of the time it's not touching anything but air. If these...- cyberspyder

Some of it yes. I like to listen to some Bondy Chiu, Denise Ho or Bianca Wu. For a new show, it was fairly well organized, I expect next year to be even better with more manufacturers showing up and more vendors. Admission wasn't too bad, paid $12 for a student pass that was valid all three...- cyberspyder

How do you clean your (dark) jeans so that the stay like new?
The more you soak/clean your jeans the faster it fades. So soak little, wear alot. Yeah, hot water is mostly for shrinking, your 511's are not STF so there will be minimal if any shrinking. Cold water will do. I think you need to buy a few pairs and rotate them so they stay dark a lot longer...- cyberspyder

A tip Br777, Epoxy/hotglue goes a long way when dealing with sleeving. Try gluing it to the wire before clamping. Brendan- cyberspyder

How do you clean your (dark) jeans so that the stay like new?
I own 3 pairs of 501 STF's, here's what I do: 1) When they were new, HOT soak them INSIDE OUT with Woolite Dark to wash off any manufacturing residue and for maximum shrinkage. My bathtub turns dark blue after that. -->I suppose cold water will help with colour/indigo loss, but I had to shrink...- cyberspyder
