Fostex TH600 up for sale. I'm the original owner. I've probably put a couple hundred listening hours on them but for the past few years they've mostly sat in a drawer. Smoke free home. Condition is good. There are a couple of dents around the headband that should show up in pictures and the ear...- CousCous

Audeze Penrose X and Penrose
Happens to me too. The update got rid of the woosh, but I still have that occasional incredibly high-pitched hissing/scratching sound. Happens every once in a while. Not really noticeable when music or video is playing.- CousCous

Audeze Penrose X and Penrose
On the AudezeHQ software, are you using the penrose profile, connected via usb and showing "connected" on the right side of the software? When I went to the firmware tab the new firmware was there. Remember to unplug the wireless dongle.- CousCous

Q701 impressions thread
If you're honest about why you're returning them (e.g., I don't like the sound), return shipping is not free in my experience. edit - Still, less than 10 dollars to audition headphones about a month is pretty good imo.- CousCous

ATH-W1000X Thread!
Got some JMoney pads. I don't like what they do to the w1000x. They become bass monsters in a bad way. Sound becomes muddy, distant and too dark. And they're so thick that the top of the pads push hard against my head while the bottoms stay open instead of sitting flatly. Interested in the L3000...- CousCous

ATH-W1000X Thread!
Have had the W1000X for about a week and completely agree about the sound being pretty great. I don't miss the T1 as I listen to them, like I did before with the T70's. Really dislike how the pads sit on my ears though. Those of you with the Jmoney pads, do your ears fit inside those pads...- CousCous

Do you still have the Dac-100? How different is the sound coming straight out of the dac-100 vs hooked up to the hap-100 with high impedance phones? edit - nevermind, just read your thoughts on your dac-100 review post. thanks for posting those!- CousCous

When do you throw your foamies away?
I use comply tips until the foam part falls off of the plastic tube, which is about 2-3 months or so. Wear one pair for 2 days, wash them & let them dry while I use another pair.- CousCous

How much is your rent?
You can also keep shopping around. When I lived in Seattle I payed about 725 for a one bedroom about 5 blocks away from the space needle. I had a beautiful view of it, the neighborhood was nice & quiet, and I remember being about a 30-45 minute busride from the u-district. 15 minutes if you're...- CousCous

AV710 in Linux?
You can find the file mentioned in this thread here. Useful if you're using the wolfson dac out on your card. If you're trying to use the spdif out refer to this thread. Either of these work for me but I'm still using alsa 1.0.11_rc4. Lots of people have reported problems with higher...- CousCous
