Still worshipping my wm1z, have tried some nice daps and DACs lately but these Sony players have some secret sauce ...no other maker can get that natural sound somehow. Its not just bass/mids/treble but there is something else going on that is not easy to grasp, the Sony sound is special and...

@Hinomotocho I see you use the z5 with small, narrow tips and guess you get a deeper fit that way. It made the z5 too bassy for me.... I would suggest trying the largest Sony tips which provide a shallow fit, as they don't fit inside the ear canal, only close it, which works best for me - I get...
