Introducing Trinity Audio Engineering
Just to add an update, I received my Vyrus V2s a few days ago (Wednesday?). For $40 (what I paid, not MSRP), they're easily the best IEMs I've used in that range. The included filters do seem to make a difference (so far I've tried both golds and gunmetals, I like the damped gold and the...- cjp87

Introducing Trinity Audio Engineering
Great, thanks for the info! Bummer his son was unwell, so hopefully that's all better. And I suppose too much demand is a good problem to have. It's nice to get an update, and like I said, no big deal on the deadline, I'm just glad to know what's going on. I'm used to similar delays with...- cjp87

Introducing Trinity Audio Engineering
Anyone heard anything about the Vyrus V2s shipping? It seems there's a history of Trinity missing their dates (I'm patient and I got them more as a curiosity than anything, so no biggy there), just curious if there's any word at this point.- cjp87

New supraaural headphones from Thinksound: On1.
They came in today! They're beautiful, and on a quick listen, they're really wonderful. More detailed than my Shure SRH-840s, and the pads are very comfortable. Pics:- cjp87

New supraaural headphones from Thinksound: On1.
It took awhile, but after accidentally washing and drying my ms01 set (sigh), I bit the bullet on the On1. Excited for them to arrive, I just ordered them this morning.- cjp87

OwnPhones..
Anyone else thinking about these? I'm hesitant to drop $150/$220 on something like hifi headphones without knowing the quality or sound signature, and waiting until April might be a long wait. But the tech and allure of dual-driver CIEMs is pretty tempting. And the new charging case is...- cjp87

Thinksound on1 Supraaural Headphone: My Impressions
Very nice review. I'm glad to see that Thinksound didn't disappoint with the On1 (not that I ever thought they would). I love that it sounds like they keep the nice balance of accuracy and warmth that the ms01s pulled off, and the "chameleonic" nature sounds perfect. As a long-time fan from...- cjp87

Exciting stuff. Looking forward to hearing your impressions. I don't doubt that I'll cave and pick some of these up in the future, but probably not any time soon.- cjp87

New supraaural headphones from Thinksound: On1.
Earlier this spring, Stereophile released an article saying that Thinksound was working on a set of on-ear headphones. I got an email from Thinksound today announcing they're now on sale. The On1 headphones look pretty gorgeous in my opinion, but I'm also partial to the wood design. I'm a...- cjp87

Advice on circumaural, closed, comfortable over ears (~$150, give or take a bit).
Okay, so I was just browsing around and looking for deals on the various phones mentioned here, and I saw a listing for the SRH840s on eBay for $165 or best offer. Since they're usually listed for $199 anywhere else I looked, I thought why not try. So I put in an offer of $130, expecting it to...- cjp87

Thanks for the recommendation. The 840s were definitely on my radar, I'll check out the HD439 as well. Also, any other opinions would be great.- cjp87

Advice on circumaural, closed, comfortable over ears (~$150, give or take a bit).
Hi all, this is largely a replication of a post I made earlier this year before the change in format that moved the help threads to this board. I ended up just repurchasing a set of Thinksound ms01s at that time, which are still going great for me, but I still find myself wanting a set of...- cjp87

Klipsch x10 vs. Thinksound MS01
I suppose this is primarily about the x10s, since my last pair of (deceased by way of new dog...) IEMs were MS01s, and coincidentally, I thought they were pretty perfect for the price. I actually just made a thread over on the full-size forum a couple of days ago asking about something with a...- cjp87

(Early) Preview of Thinksound on-ear headphones at Stereophile.
Just as Thinksound Aaron Fournier informed me a couple of days ago, Sterophile has an early preview of Thinksound's new full-size headphones. For those unfamiliar with Thinksound, they make a range of IEMs that have been very favorably reviewed, including by several Head-Fi members on the IEM...- cjp87

~$100 over-ear recommendation, coming from Thinksound MS01 IEMs.
Thanks a bunch, Mr. Fournier. I'll have to wait a bit to check out the sneak peak. Also, I'll see if I can't find what's left of the MS01s, that would be really awesome of you guys. Makes me happy to be the top review on the MS01s on Amazon, : )- cjp87
