Whoa. Head-fi meet in the South Coast??? How can I say no...... put me down for the 26th. I was involved in a couple of Sydney head-fi meets last year but nowhere near as glamorous location as this!

After waiting weeks for the damn BSE to arrive, it looks like the post lost it again! I've contacted BSE for a refund, and that will go towards buying the IS this time.

Just out of curiosity, who is sending theirs back for this "laidback" Mod?

This neutrality and transparency is what lead me to RnB's diamond mini. My portable setup is bassy enough as it is with the hornet and hf-1's, so don't need to hear more bass from the cable.

Second the RS-1 suggestion. As far as sources go, if you want a dedicated cd player, I'd go for the Eastsound. Then with whatever money you have left, spend it on a nice tube amp for your rs-1's such as a MAD EAR+ HD, and you'll have one killer setup!
