For what it's worth, I went from a HTC One M7 to the S6 Edge and I have no doubt the S6 has a better DAC. Doesn't play as loud but I much prefer the S6.   The loudspeaker is much worse than the HTC though that's not really important to us.

Just found a package in my room with MG7s in them... Completely forgot I had sent them in for replacement 6+ months ago and no idea how or when they got back! Oh how I've missed them! Been using the UE900s since I sent them back and I really missed the fun-factor of the MG7s.

I haven't tried the iPhone 5, but it does sound better than the iPhone 4 and especially the Galaxy S2 to my ears.
