Would love to pair this with my A5's. Anyone try plugging the D1 into an Apple Cinema Display or something similar? I know it's recommended to go with a standalone USB port, but I wanted to see if plugging into the display was a viable option so that i don't have to plug/unplug into my laptop...

i dont really like the bose sound....but i have to admit...any bose headphone sounds better than the sony mdr v700dj headphones....now those really suck

um2 is definitely more comfy...but in terms of sq its mostly a matter of preference there...the price difference is also a factor too

headphones definitely can do things IEMs cannot (bass impact, soundstage) but i love the isolation and enjoyment i get from the um2s that i wouldnt trade it for a pair of open headphones...i guess it all depends on your personal needs..

ive had no problems with my um2s so far...cord is thin but not flimsy by any means...unlike the er6i cord
