    DIY Cable Gallery!!

Did a recable a few weeks ago and forgot to upload the pictures.         The canare L-4E6s was twisted pretty tight in the sleeve and it was tough to straighten out and it's still stiffer than I'd like it but it's definitely better than the stock cable.

Beautiful. Any tips for soldering the 1/8" plugs? I had a tough time with them but I love how they look. And is that the small hole version or the large hole version?

Nice work! I love the look of the 1/8" Switchcraft connectors but despise the price and difficulty in soldering them.

Oh my god. Thank you so much for that website. A good product at a reasonable price and flat-rate shipping of $3. Perfect.   How do you guys deal with the wires being curly from being twisted in the casing? Are there any wires that don't need straightening out after you strip them?

I'm finishing a cable using the burgundy color of this and it fits the strands in Canare L-4E6S perfectly.

I'm planning to terminate it with this Neutrik plug and HiFiMan connectors. If I stripped the L4E6S and sleeved each strand in type I (accessory) paracord then did a litz braid, would it be too big to fit the plug?

My main concern for a cable I'm planning to make is flexibility in a stripped cable. What is a relatively cheap (-$.75/foot) quad conductor cable that's really flexible and good quality?

I made a cable out of GEPCO wire based on a recommendation from someone and I don't quite like how it feels. It's almost flexible enough and it's soft, but it's tight around the wires and I can feel them through the casing and I dislike that.    I was wondering if anyone knew how canare and...

Love the Switchcraft plug. For some reason It seems like very few people here like them. To me they're the best plugs I've seen so far.

3.5mm plugs are almost always gold plated because gold doesn't corrode anywhere as easily as copper, not because other materials are too soft.
