Most overrated headphones?
WOW, you have very different ears than me, I found Beyer headphones really overrated and un-natural, maybe T5p 2nd was bit natural but nothing exciting sound. I had all the DT/T series including 600ohm, they are not natural at all. I say maybe you can go to local speaker stores and listen to...- Canadian411

NEW! Fostex TH610 Premium Reference Closed-Back Headphones
IMO TH900 > T5p.2 > TH610 (without the price in consideration) BUT with the cost factor, then, TH900 > TH610 > T5p.2 Just my opinion, :) ymmv- Canadian411

I am sorry to sidetrack this thread but I demoed ESL, KEF R series, Blade, Sonus, and ESL wasnt even close to any others. If you are looking for the best value speaker go with Tekton Double Impact or Ulfberht :) So many choices- Canadian411

NEW! Fostex TH610 Premium Reference Closed-Back Headphones
There is some leak with Fostex headphones but that is the reason I like them. Beyerdynamic and Ultrasone ed8 were too tight/firm for me causing lot of heat and sweats. I guess everyone is different but I like Fostex ;)- Canadian411

NEW! Fostex TH610 Premium Reference Closed-Back Headphones
I didn't think T5p.2 worth the MSRP which I paid $920 CAD, that's approx, $670 USD few weeks ago. The sound quality of T5p.2 wasn't impressive to me, just dull sounding headphone. I bought two T5p.2 to compare and returned both. I am happy with TH610, if T5p.2 was around $500 USD yes I will...- Canadian411

Actually commenting myself, ended up buying TH610, sounds similar to T5p.2 that I had, lot more comfortable, Little bit of more trebles than T5p.2.- Canadian411

TH610 VS TH900 II
I have both TH900 and TH610, and had LCD2.2. TH900 bass is lot closer to LCD2.2, it goes deeper and extends more than TH610. Everything is much better in TH900 than TH610 IMO, spend extra $400-$500 and don't regret, that's my suggestion. I have TH610 for the office listening, but for home I...- Canadian411

Oppo HA-1 Impressions Thread
I used Oppo as the main dac to my speakers, and also used to drive HE6 and other headphones, an excellent DAC and headphone amp. I was sad to see Oppo leaving :(- Canadian411
