What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Lacuna Coil - To Live Is To Hide [Unleashed Memories]     Going way back into my library today... haven't really listened to them since [Karmacode] was released.

    Bicycle-Fi!

Weight.   The casual rider likely won't (and shouldn't) care less about this, but cycling is like headphones... most that are "into it" aren't of the casual variety, and won't think twice about spending an extra $100 on shifters that weigh 100g less. But, even that doesn't justify the...

Oh, yeah. No way that I'd get into this garage without power steering!   Have fun mate, mind the crazies!

Thanks! Lovin' your truck. My wife things that we need a pickup (which we probably do). I'm trying to convince her that a late-50s Chevy with a Napco would be a good, err, investment ;)   I hear you about space, though! We live in a 1912 bungalow right now, which was originally built with a...

Haha, thanks :)   Honestly though, not much of a burnout guy. It'll break the tires through third, but I try to keep them hooked as much as possible! I also don't have any kind of a line lock, so I can only keep it going so far anyway.   Still... you'll hear a hard launch ;)

Most days, I romp around in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe that some past owner shoved some one-ton springs into.   But other days, when I'm not feeling too lazy, I'll roll this baby out:

    Bicycle-Fi!

Thank you! Digging your Synapse, too :) Who's making your wheels, and what will they be?   Cranks on mine are SRAM Force, which was spec'd with the bike that year. I've replaced the original 50/34 Rival chain rings with a set of 52/38 Red chain rings (2012 model, I think), which was the...

    Bicycle-Fi!

Apparently, in my life, n = 0 and s = 2. But that's OK, I guess. Just wanted to join in, with shiny new parts (stem and saddle) for a shiny new season. 2011 CAAD10-4:     Now all I need to do is figure out how to justify new shifters, derailleurs, and wheels. Easy!

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

This happened to me far too often with mine, using the grey three-flange tips. Got to the point where I just kept a pair of tweezers in my gym bag, or while flying. You know, just in case.   Just got a pair of ER4SRs, and I've been trying the slightly-smaller glide tips. So far they seem to...

"Breaking in" my new Ety ER4SRs with Dubba Johnny's VIP Dubstep Tutorial, through the Mapletree. Because, what work?   Thank you, prick at gym who stole my faithful ER-4S. Also, thank you Mom & Dad for the totally awesome birthday gift, even though you have no idea why anyone would want to...

Help identifying source of "throb" and hum, please?

Thanks for the input. I have my doubts about the overall wiring of the battery at this point, but the terminals themselves appear to be solidly attached to the leads. I took the case apart yesterday after posting this, and confirmed that it was the charger's input jack that I tried to solder...

Help identifying source of "throb" and hum, please?

First off, hello again Head-Fi; it's been ages!     Background:   I recent pulled my Mapletree Audio (Ear+ Purist HD150, if it matters) out of a box, and thought it would be a fun idea to set up a listening station in my office. Also brought out of storage was one of two Squeezebox 3s in my...
