Yeah, I guess I'm more of a BMW/Audio/Mercedes budget now versus the Lambo. Well I say that, but my number one IEM is a A18+ and they were over $3k with options.

I'll be shipping out the west coast kit Monday. Question... Does anyone here feel like the VE8 and Elysium are great IEM's but maybe a bit overpriced? I feel like bang for my buck I can get other IEM's that perform as well but are a lot cheaper. Again I really liked both of them and wouldn't...

Got the kit in and started trying them out. I'm really really liking the VE8. Might be an issue though with the Elysium, I'm pretty sure someone said the Elysium had a volume balance issue between the left and right monitors. Did anyone else notice this on the West Coast kit? edit... nevermind...

Got the kit in and taking the Elysium to band practice with me. Let's see if they can ride with the big boys, replacing my A18+ for the day.

I was the first one to receive them and I'm working on my review to publish soon. Like @rantng said, even though my reviews are usually only a page or two long, I take my time to word things in a way that really conveys what I've heard, my opinion and recommendations. I don't light heartedly...

FYI, waiting on shipping address for the ERL's to go to the next participant. I can't say enough about these, I really wish they had a custom.

The NiceHCK NX7 is actually pretty close to those measurements also. I'm using a set right now and they're really good for the price.
