Audeze LCD-2 driver failures
Got a RMA number to return the LCD-2s. The thing is, I've had my Grado RS-1 for years without a hitch. I would hate to upgrade to the LCD-3 and have this happen.- blakjava2011

Audeze LCD-2 driver failures
I have a Grado RS-1 that I also use with the Burson HA-160DS. I have been using the Grados for many years with no issues and they sound great too. Besides the Burson, I also use them with a Berning micro-ZOTL personal amplifier than I bought several years ago that I paired with a PS Audio...- blakjava2011

Audeze LCD-2 driver failures
In November, 2011, my Audeze LCD-2 had a driver failure on the right side. I sent them back to Audeze where thy were quickly repaired. Now today, Jan.8, 2013, the left side suddenly went out as soon as I plugged them into my Burson HA-160D Headphone DAC/Amp. I reported this to Audeze Support...- blakjava2011

PS Audio Digital Link III DAC
I just ordered a new one on Amazon for half price at $499. PS Audio just came out with a new DAC, the NuWave for $995 to replace the Digital Link III, therefore the big price drop. I'm pairing it with a Berning micro-ZOTL Amplifier that I bought several years ago but rarely used. If it works...- blakjava2011

Audeze LCD-2 with Burson Audio HA-160DS Power out issue
Last year I bought a Burson Audio HA-160DS to pair with my Audeze LCD-2. According to Burson, the output power is only 250mw (see Measurement below). The combination sounds great to me, but Audeze recommends at least 1W. Do I need an amp with more output power than the HA-160DS? Selecting...- blakjava2011

HELP! Burson HA-160DS hum/noise problem
My Audeze LCD-2 headphones sound marvelous with the Burson HA-160DS using the USB output from my Macbook Pro. No noise at all, just great sound.- blakjava2011

HELP! Burson HA-160DS hum/noise problem
I use my Burson HA-160DS with Audeze LCD-2 and Grado RS1 and it is dead silent with the volume control turned all the way up using the USB output from my Macbook Pro as the input. I do not leave the Burson on 24/7 as Burson says this is unnecessary. I usually let it warm up for 30 minutes before...- blakjava2011

The Audeze LCD-2 Ortho thread (New)
The right driver went out on my LCD-2 purchased in May 2011 with the r1 driver. Audeze repaired the headphones this December. I don't know whether they replaced the driver or not or whether they replaced it with the r2 driver. They seem to sound better than before the failure although that may...- blakjava2011
