[FIIO BR13] Hi-Res Bluetooth Receiver-fiber-optic/coaxial BYPASS function,connect two transmitters,global upsampling up to 96K 24BIT,7 EQ + 2 custom PEQ,7 Bluetooth codecs including LDAC
I don't know, assume it's another integrated hub, only Ugoos can answer. I have to repeat there are no external USB hubs anywhere near RPi or Ugoos box and DAC is always connected directly to integrated USB port. Regardless of what the "Terminus technology" device is, Ugoos is a secondary...- blackie333

[FIIO BR13] Hi-Res Bluetooth Receiver-fiber-optic/coaxial BYPASS function,connect two transmitters,global upsampling up to 96K 24BIT,7 EQ + 2 custom PEQ,7 Bluetooth codecs including LDAC
Yes, I have tested the DAC later with another Linux device(Ugoos-AM6) to confirm the problem is not limited to 1 device(Rpi3) model/vendor/kernel. In both cases DAC plugged directly into the device without external HUB, to the same USB port the other USB DAC was working. Hubs listed in lsusb...- blackie333

[FIIO BR13] Hi-Res Bluetooth Receiver-fiber-optic/coaxial BYPASS function,connect two transmitters,global upsampling up to 96K 24BIT,7 EQ + 2 custom PEQ,7 Bluetooth codecs including LDAC
Thank you guys, update to f/w 1.0.3 wend successfully. Tested the USB input with my linux-based streamers again but unfortunately the BR13 wasn't detected as an USB soundcard. Device also not detected by "lsusb" command. Menu controls, display and BT streaming work when connected with the Linux...- blackie333

[FIIO BR13] Hi-Res Bluetooth Receiver-fiber-optic/coaxial BYPASS function,connect two transmitters,global upsampling up to 96K 24BIT,7 EQ + 2 custom PEQ,7 Bluetooth codecs including LDAC
Thank you, I'm afraid it could be related. Today I have tested again with another Linux device - CoreElec box player with the same result - DB13 not detected as audio device, see screenshot below. My other DAC models (Yulong DA8 and Topping E30) are detected when connected via USB so I'm more...- blackie333

[FIIO BR13] Hi-Res Bluetooth Receiver-fiber-optic/coaxial BYPASS function,connect two transmitters,global upsampling up to 96K 24BIT,7 EQ + 2 custom PEQ,7 Bluetooth codecs including LDAC
Have upgraded firmware and tested my BR13 via Windows/USB and BT/LDAC modes. Must say I'm happy with the audio quality, it's a surprisingly good device for the money. Later I came across a problem when tried to use BR13 in USB mode with my Moode RPi streamer. The device was not detected as USB...- blackie333

Could not resist the BF offer and bought the device yesterday :) Now have to wait for 3 weeks until it arrives. Noticed that a firmware update has been released with volume fixes: https://forum.fiio.com/note/showNoteContent.do?id=202311221824518791075- blackie333

REVIEW - Yulong Audio Sabre DA8 Reference DAC
Hello again, I want to report that the sound quality of my DA8 unit has finaly improved, yet it took very long time (nearly a year) until it finally bested my internal soundcard in SQ. It remains a mystery to me how it's possible that it needed so much time to break-in. Unfortunately it's not...- blackie333

A Motherboard with usb dac's in mind
I have Z87 chipset motherboard without USB DAC support, seems newer generations have this function. Is there some inexpensive PCI-e USB card which support usb power-off function? I don't want to spend 400-500 EUR for an audiophile card like SOtM Audio tX-USBexp, but some cheap card supporting...- blackie333

Beyerdynamic DT 150: Bloody Brilliant!
Thank you for your opinion. Yulong DA8 amp is quite capable, should be able to handle the can. Anyone able to comment about low volume listening with DT-150 (vs HD6x0)?- blackie333

Beyerdynamic DT 150: Bloody Brilliant!
Hi there, I'm looking for some musical, natural sounding, low leakage closed headphones to complement my HD650s and stumbled upon this interesting retro-looking Beyers thread. Many excited owners here made me to consider DT-150 very seriously, but I'm not yet 100% sure they are the best option...- blackie333
