The T-amp only has analog input, so don't worry about optical/digital output on the AV710.

I remember otherwise -- if you flash with Prodigy firwmare you will lose all analog channels.

Chiliman, the EPOS ELS3s are rated for 4 ohms, which may be hard to drive for some receivers/amps. I am not familiar with your receiver, but you may want to check and makes sure that it has no problems with 4 ohm speakers before you take the plunge.
