Tunebox 2.....possibly the better Chromecast Audio
Sorry to revive an old thread but just curious if you’re still enjoying this product? Also curious if it supports other streaming services outside of Spotify and AirPlay.- Bigjppop

Unique Melody Merlin and Miracle Demo Program
I just received the Merlins that mistertomlinson had, at least I think I did. I also put the same deposit down for the privilege of trying these out. Ive been listening for about an hour so far and I'm really enjoying them. They have some SERIOUS bottom end. Some might consider it too much, but...- Bigjppop

Does the Darkvoice 337 have a universal power transformer?
Just wondering if anyone knows if the DV337 has a universal transformer (dual primary setup). I've recently moved to a 230V country and currently have my amp at the office running off of a step down transformer. I'd like to just rewire it, but all my tools are at home and I was hoping someone...- Bigjppop

Joint European Head-Fi/HIFI-FORUM.de Meet in Berlin, Sept. 11th. It's on!
It's really pretty amazing how much gear we're going to have at this thing; especially considering there will be under 30 people! Really looking forward to this meet.- Bigjppop

Joint European Head-Fi/HIFI-FORUM.de Meet in Berlin, Sept. 11th. It's on!
I'd love to but I sold all my other cans off once I heard the HD-650's. I'm particularly interested in hearing the HD-800's. Sorry I can't be of my help :( Quote:- Bigjppop

Joint European Head-Fi/HIFI-FORUM.de Meet in Berlin, Sept. 11th. It's on!
Just stumbled on this thread and having recently moved to Berlin, I would love to attend. I've got a Darkvoice 337 I can bring along as well (most of my other gear is already represented). I'll also be bringing a step down transformer for any of you guys that have 110V gear; its a beast...- Bigjppop

Signal Cables Vs. BlueJeans
Sorry for the slow response. I think build quality on them both is excellent. I have about 5 different Signal Cable products and several Blue Jeans products as well. I've never had any problem with any of them. I just can't really here much of a difference in any cable. I think once you... -
Signal Cables Vs. BlueJeans
I own both the IC's you mentioned, I can't here a difference. There is a HUGE difference in the flexiblity of these cables. The Blue Jeans stuff is stiffer and doesn't bend as well, the Signal Cable stuff does. Just something to consider as you purchase. -
I've given in to the dark side- Hello Zu!
I'd love to hear what you think of them. What are you using to drive them? -
harley orange speakers :-)
It's always great to see people loving the single driver thing. I've only recently gotten into it but so far I'm very impressed. I've got a pair of Omegas as well, but I've been gawking at the Tekton site for about 6 months now. I'm pretty sure I'll end up with something of theirs in due time... -

Buffalo II Update
I'm still very much a rookie at DIY but am thinking about my first DAC. I've still got a ways to go before I actually understand everything that goes into a Buffalo DAC but I'd like to get an idea of what I'm looking at the build one of this $$$ wise. If I buy the $299 DAC module with Placid...- Bigjppop

Soviet tubes
I've started down the perilous trail of DIY tube amps and I must say, it has really made me appreciate Russian tubes. First of all, the are DANG cheap and are really pretty much bullet proof (especially the e/ev stuff). I think I've given up on the theory that all NOS stuff is better simply...- Bigjppop
