I got a pair 3c delivered about a week ago with a clear plate and black body.  i'm quite impressed with how they look.  it's not a perfectly clear window into the insides which i think adds a bit of mystery.  it reminds me of the distortion from my panerai watch that has a thick sapphire crystal...
