Absolutely not. The spec is completely fake: There is no chance it can drive 3.8 watts into 600 Ohm  They don't even know difference between "voltage" and "wattage".- BenF

Try connecting the dongle to one of the amplifiers I listed. Set Windows and application volume to 100% - this will make the dongle work in DAC mode. Control the volume on the amplifier.- BenF

No sound card will handle such headphone. You need watts, not volts. Every DAC can put out 2 volts RMS (it's the standard), even without an amplifier.- BenF

SMSL SH-6 at 187$ and SMSL SH-8S at 230$ will both drive 99.9% of headphones on the market: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004037125738.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006669959139.html- BenF

Better - maybe Good - no I would look into anything with at least 500mW into 32Ohm.- BenF

Absolutely not, it will sound bad. HD5XX has very low sensitivity - 93.5dB, so you need a proper amp, regardless of the low impedance. The lower the impedance, the more current will flow, and small amps are not a great source of current. Driving voltage is much easier than driving current.- BenF

Earbuds Round-Up
I burned X3 for ~250 hours and listened just now for a few minutes. Initial impression - X3 is a great improvement over X6, and sounds fairly close to LBBS. I wouldn't be surprised if it's simply a renamed LBBS (with a horrible cable), to justify increasing the price - 90$ vs 48$.- BenF

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
Here are (almost) all the coupons for the AliExpress sale: This list is missing the "8$ off 69$" or "8€ off 69€" coupon - code is the same as other coupon codes, but ends with "08". BTW, looks like outside of US and "others" the sale ends at different time - for example, in Europe at midnight...- BenF

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
I have received it, but didn't get a chance to test it yet - all my Pro 82s are either in remote storage or in remote office - and I haven't visited either one in a while... However, I'm very confident that even if it won't have synergy, it will at least sound great anyway. Right now there is a...- BenF

You are about to be disappointed - X6 is nowhere near as good as LBBS. There are 3 last ones available for sale: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001464323686.html I bought 8 LBBS so far, so I can look with confidence into the future - BenF

You should get Yincrow X6 over Temperament X6 regardless of other earbuds - they sound better despite lower price.- BenF

You should buy Temperament LBBS - it's much better than both Temperament X6 and Yincrow X6. It's 48$, and there are last 5 units available on AliExpress (it's not made anymore): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001464323686.html- BenF

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
So I ended up buying it last night - 75$ instead of 89$ thanks to coupons and discount codes. If it's using the exact same Chinese 12AU7 tube, the chance for synergy is really high. If not, I may need to tube roll. Either way, I'm sure it will be either best sounding or second best sounding...- BenF

I concur. It's not that RW3000 is a bad earbud, I just don't want to keep listening to it - too boring. I'd rater listen to Yincrow X6 over RW3000.- BenF
