Haven't tried it yet because I'm oscillating between buying the 32, 80, 250 or 600 Ohm. If I'm advised against 600 Ohm for a portable mp3 player or standard PC soundcard, I'm gonna go for 32 Ohm.

So the 250 Ohm do have a bit more bass, but the difference is so small that it boils down to personal preference.   One more question: is it easy to replace the ear cushions on these headphones? Or does it need a bit of skill?   And thanks for answering all these questions :).

Do I lose a lot of the sound quality because of this? I heard the 250 / 600 Ohm have better bass :).

Why the 32? Is it because a portable player can't properly drive the others?

HeatFan12: who's Kingwa?   Is that 15.1 also an AMP? For example I see on hoved-fi.dk that the 17.2 is only DAC, has no AMP.

On Senn's website, Sennheiser HD 598 have "Impedance" 50 Ohms, HD 800 have "Nominal Impedance" 300 Ohms.   Is there a difference? I searched this Forum and came up with a possible answer of "No". Looking for somebody to assure me that I am correct.   Also... why the huge difference?
