PRESS RELEASE: Sennheiser announces the MOMENTUM On-Ear headphone
I'd love those with the sound of the amperior. I love my amperior but I'm not a fan of the build with the cables.. mine has serious problems (left side goes dead 50% of the time when touching the cable) after only 3 months of use. I prefer the momentum build. However the sound of the amperior is...- authistic

Sennheiser Amperior Impressions Thread
Can someone tell me if the iphone remote works with iPhone 5? The apple online store isn't listing it as "supported" but maybe it's just not up to date?- authistic

Amperior vs dtt1350 ? SQ question ?
I think especially with rock and metal the up-front sounding of the Amperiors is great. It is punchy and makes you move your head. Also, I thik rock and metal needs some volume to sound really good and the low impediance comes in very handy for that.- authistic

Cheapest soundcard I can get, strictly for using the coax spdif out?
DAC's are overrated. They are the least important part of the chain. The STX is a very good card. Connect your amp to it and give it a listen. If you don't like the sound -> buy new headphones. No way a DAC will turn a not pleasing setup into a great one.- authistic

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Are the Ultrasone HFI-780 a good alternative to the Grado SR225i? The Grados are too pricey here (~300€ = 390$). I'm looking for a somewhat brutal sound signature with forward in-yo-face mids, hard hitting and fast bass and energy in the highs. greets.- authistic

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
A lot of people here say it is too "slow" and "muddy" for metal. I don't know what kind of metal you're listening to but when I listened to Fear Of The Dark and Hallowed Be Thy Name some minutes ago with my 650s it sounded very very good. However, I think it coulb be a bit more clear and...- authistic

Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...
Well atm I still have K701, M50 and AKG K141S but all three will be gone in like a week.. so I only have the HD650 left. Actually it could be nice if the Bass would be tighter. I use HD25 now on my mobile rig, and I kinda like the sound because I can hear more details in the guitars. ...- authistic
