What does phasing from 0 to 180 and 180 to 0 do? I've tried googling this but it's too complex and I'm not a mathwiz.- aurabullet

Spark/pop noise coming from speakers?
Update - Spark seemed to have lowered dramatically after the removal of the bottom foam used for packaging and unplugged for 8+ hours Disabled equilizer due to suggestion above, will update this thread if problems still come back. Not using USB anymore; using toslink again haven't a/b'd...- aurabullet

Spark/pop noise coming from speakers?
I'm using a w4s dac-1 USB input w/ a st-250 power amp digitally attenuated from the computer. I'm also using foobar wasapi 24/44.1khz and 50ms latency. I randomly get pop/static spark noises when I change the song and I know it's not my computer because I tried it on 3 laptops and 2 computers...- aurabullet

Do step down transformers degrade quality?
I'm thinking of buying a 727a / 717 stax amp for my 007 mk2 unfortunately I don't know anyone who can re-wire it for me so I'm questioning the step down transformers, does anyone have experience with those? Thanks.- aurabullet

bleh I can't seem to find a bang for the buck amp for the mk2's here what would you guys prefer over these? Ges (retail 1450), SRSM 323S (700$ retail), 007tii (1200$) or 717 @ 1000$- aurabullet

Jumping into stax, amp recommendations for 007 mk1 / 2?
I have in favor of deciding for a stax srm 323, 717, 727 or a woo audio ges STAX SRM-007tII SRM-007 seem of interests also @ a 1400$ price. any suggestions other than these? experiences? Best out of the four?- aurabullet

5 gain B22 enough for he-6?
3ch board dact attenuator or should I have to change the gain to 8 like everyone else does, my LCD-2s are quite enjoyable @ 10-12 o clock, haven't tried with an HE-6 yet- aurabullet
