Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)
Commuting. Phone in pocket. Cannot keep the phone in my back pocket at all. In the front pocket I still get drops. My main purpose in buying wireless was to improve commuting convenience, but that doesn't work so well if I must keep my phone in my hand.- audioffile

After last week's research into wireless headsets I ordered Oneodio A10 on AE, but Oneodio Official Store is not shipping until after the CNY holiday, so I expect to get them after mid-Feb. I will share when they arrive though. In an earlier post I mentioned that all BT headsets seem to have...- audioffile

Thanks for clarifying. I can find the A10 for just $50 on AE, putting below the Mixcder E10 ($70) and inline with the Mpow ($54). I was a little concerned that the review I found of the Oneodio Fusion cited cheap build and ears hitting the driver covers due to shallow pads. Any comments on...- audioffile

Interesting that two sets are noise cancelling, but one is not. No strong opinions on that feature? EDIT: E10 review here by Jupit3r. To my eyes, these are the nicest looking of the bunch. "With a premium design, great build quality, decent noise reduction performance, impressive audio, and a...- audioffile

Tempting. The form-factor is near identical to the MeElectronics HT-21 I'm replacing... Still reading that review in Spanish...- audioffile

2 very good observations there: Comfort - I'm just saying that the angle of my ears on my head requires cups that pivot, that's all. Otherwise, I generally find on-ear to be quite comfortable if the clamping pressure is moderate. What's in my list - Sadly, I've only found one recommendation...- audioffile

Still hoping for more smaller recommendations (on-ear). EDIT: Was looking for a good way to link up to the post where I was compiling some info. Not sure the quote method is obvious. Hmm...- audioffile

Ha ha. Problem with chi-fi, how do you know unless you've tried it? I never quite finished that post I was working on above. My original request is in https://www.head-fi.org/threads/chinese-asian-brand-info-thread-on-or-over-ear-headphones.822184/page-384#post-15386086 above. TLDR: <$50. Good...- audioffile

I've just discovered a local source for Remax products, but around here I only see reviews for their in-ear products. Has anyone tried their cans? EDIT2: Cleaned up and moved the list of models I'm looking at to a post below.- audioffile

Why vents open? Good point on the trade-offs. The HT-21 that I'm replacing is a $20 on-ear (not over-ear) mini-can (with a cup diameter a little under 6cm). They never produced much bass, so I expect even with a fully closed full-size I will still be relatively happier with both the isolation...- audioffile

Can anyone recommend cheap (<$50) on-ear cans for commuting? Good isolation is required. Earcups must pivot. My (quite old now) MEElectronics HT-21s are having wiring issues from L to R and I'm not confident I can replace that wire myself, so I would like to buy something to replace. I'm seeing...- audioffile
