maybe try Hanne Hukkelberg, real nice adn warm jazzy vocals with a variety of instruments - harp, banjo, theramin, tuba, keyboards. not super electronic, but very chill. -

That picture is AWESOME. And thanks for the reply. I think most people like their portable headphones to look good, myself included. Except Portapro users of course.- atomic

My friend is looking for a CAN that does noise isolation really well
I just wanted to add support for the K26P. I actually get MUCH more isolation from these than from the FC7's, although the FC7's definitely osund better than the K26P. But if isolation is the first priority, then get the K26P. (I also found the FC7's really uncomfortable after about an hour - it...- atomic

REVIEW: 3 Closed Portables Compared—AKG K81 DJ, Audio Technica ES5 & Sennheiser PX200
Looks like the K81 DJ might be a great upgrade to my K26P. I still really like them, they have gotten more comfortable over time, they isolate very well, the sound is decent for most of what I listen to. But lately I've been wanting...more. More balance, more soundstage, just better overall...- atomic

Fender Telecaster white guitar
I have a Strat, purchased new - lots of fun. And a Crate 80-watt 2-channel amp. Got them both in high school, gave ("lent") them to my little sister after I graduated college (didn't feel like shipping them across the country). Crate does a pretty good job with inexpensive amps, mine was used...- atomic

GRE test.
GRE = Graduate Record Examination. Required for many post-baccalaureate programs. It seems to be different depending on which type of program and the caliber of schools you're applying to. Most of the time, the GRE is not that important - recommendations and undergraduate work are usually...- atomic

What to get the girlfriend for christmas?
What's up with all the stuffed animals? I've never had a boyfriend give me anything like that, nor would I want anyone to. I agree with the suggestions of making her dinner, doesn't have to be fancy, but a homemade candlelit dinner is very nice. A framed picture of the two of you is also a...- atomic
